Potable Water Services

Midco Diving and Marine Services has an extensive inventory of dedicated "potable water" inspection and cleaning equipment. Our personnel, and expertise enable us to provide a broad range of underwater services for complete potable water system maintenance.

All of Midco's well trained and commercially certified diving staff and associated in-tank equipment is fully disinfected according to AWWA Standard C652-92. Our commitment to rigorous health and safety codes exceeds the requirements of the AWWA for diving in potable water systems and all Midco's operations are conducted in full compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910, Subpart T - Commercial Diving Operations and the Association of Commercial Divers International Consensus Standards for Commercial Diving Operations. All inspections are documented in accordance with the applicable recognized standards from the

following agencies; National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE), Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC), American Welding Society (AWS), Concrete inspected to American Concrete Institute (ACI) standards.

Whether it is an on-grade, below grade, clearwell, pedestal, standpipe, or tower, Midco's cleaning equipment, used solely in potable water storage systems, will remove sand, sediment, flocculated material, lime and silt from your storage system. All work can be performed while your system is full and operating in a normal manner, eliminating downtime and loss of storage capacity.
